Schools are everywhere, in every country, city, town and any other places where people live its evident truth. Therefore homework is everywhere.
Things have changed since I was in the first form, now we have 16 subjects, so the problem of doing homework is an urgent one for me. It has become more difficult to have an early night because of loads of tasks we should get through every day essays, assignments, projects I entirely agree with Andrey Barabash from Ukraine who says that doing homework takes up almost all of my after school time. We are teenagers wishing to hang out with friends, to sleep more every day; and homework is a certain barrier to all this.
Of course, things arent so sad. I think that every second pupil of my age will certainly exclaim: Oh, I dont have enough time (and smth like that, I guess) But the main cause of the problem is the students way of arranging time in this case I also agree with Dima Kruglyak from School 107 from Zaporozhie, because it really sounds sensible. If students arrange their time according to their possibilities and priorities, the problem of doing homework wont be such an evident one. Now Ill try to explain: I feel that almost everyone has already chosen the magnet class he/she will go to next school year, so I advise everyone to immerse mostly in subjects which will be necessary to do in this particular class. And, without any doubt, everything very much depends on the students attitude to homework. If a person is sure that its impossible to satisfy all the teachers demands, he/she will think that he is the unhappiest person in the world, who cant cope with difficulties; and its very bad for our state of mind. By the way, Im sure that the problem of doing homework isnt the most important in life. Besides, our efforts and conscientiousness will be justified some day when we enter a university weve been dreaming of for a long time and receive a thorough education. And to add, I can say that we are not batteries and if we devote ourselves to studying, our brains will explode, so BE MORE CALM ABOUT STUDYING, think that your health and appearance dont cost spending nights devouring textbooks its better to alternate your studying with your hobbies, amusing yourself by interesting films in a light sort of way, going somewhere with your friends Im not offering you to give up doing hometasks at all (as for me, I feel, There isnt anything very comforting about not being prepared for every lesson), but Im just trying to bring everyone round to the thought that if we make some changes in our daily schedule (concerning homework, I mean), it will be better for us, well realize that teachers are not our enemies who are stealing our time, but they are our elder friends who are trying to teach us the basic thing about every school discipline (although it often seems that it wont be useful in our future!)
